Upgrades to the engine giving this "F" code 302 Ranchero more pep include: Edelbrock Performer intake, Edelbrock 4 barrel carburetor, chrome valve covers, chrome air cleaner, and chrome alternator for good looks under the hood as well. 1969 Ford Ranchero in excellent condition and ready for anything.
Of course the car, but I am including the following items as part of this auction: The original chrome 1969 GT wheels are in the bed and include GT caps and trim rings (one ring is not original). The car is in a secured garage so I will need to know when it will be picked up. Because this is a collector car over 40 years old and in need of some restoration, there is no warranty offered, or implied. Look no further than my very rare 1969 Ranchero GT. This little gem is factory equipped with what is beleived to be the original 390 big block it was born with. Also 1969 engines had a Ford Autolite 4bbl carburator instead of the earlier editions Holley 4bbls. , this is one of the most desirable tops for 1968/69 rancheros and even finding one is remarkable in any condition. Full payment is required within 10 days after close of auction and the new owner will need to have the vehicle removed with 20 days after auction ends. One more extra that will go with the ranchero is an ultra rare Gaylord fiberglass bed cover. The body is very solid and has no major rust issues that I know of. There are spots of surface rust here and there, but it is a lifelong California car, originally sold in San Jose, CA. This vehicle has the best color combination in my opinion. I have included a photo of part of the Marti Report to show you just how rare this vehicle is. There are a few small dents and dings, but that is expected for a car over 40 years old. For information, 1969 390 S code engines did not have an S stamped on the intake manifold and were actually designated as the 390IP "improved performance". the original GT grile with few cracks and a GT grille with NO cracks and all mounting pins. It will also be up to the new owner to supply any insurance once the shipping company, or owner, takes possession of the car. Of course, full payment via Paypal will need to be made prior to change of possession or car pickup. I was unable to see if a matching vin was on the engine, but it appears to be correct according to the data plate and the engine tag. this is it. Nice solid body with original body panels and correct drivetrain. The intake manifold has the correct part number and the valve covers are date correct. The transmission is the original C6, but has a major fluif leak that will need repaired. The seat needs redone, but is the original seat. Please look at the pics and you will see the original engine tag attached under the coil. Judging by how well the doors and hood close, it wouldn't surprise me. I located the car in Fresno, California, which is not far from it's birthplace of San Jose. I am including a nice RED dash pad I restored, so all you have to do is install it. Please see the photos. Please let me know if you want it mailed, or included with car. It needs interior, but the door panels are decent and the good part. The engine does run, but the replacement carburator needs some things hooked up before starting.
