So far, AWESOME!!!!!
We have a 2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport that came with some Wagner 'stock' headlights. They've never been anything special - in fact, we ALWAYS have to drive with our high beams on at night, and no one ever notices or 'flashes' us. Neither my husband nor I are very mechanically gifted when it comes to cars, so we were a little hesitant to purchase these and install them ourselves. Well, they shipped right after we purchased them, we received them four days later, and it took about 15 minutes to switch them out. My husband has to drive on a remote country road to get to work, and he said that these headlights (on low beam) are about five times brighter than our old lights on high beams. He also said that on high beams, it's like there's a big patch of daylight on the road in front of you. No need to adjust or align the level of the lights. We are anxious to see how long they last, but even if it's for a year or two, it's SO worth it! We will be recommending these to all our friends...

Huge Improvement on 98 Jeep
Replaced my standard Wagoner Halogens with Silverstars on my 98 Jeep Cherokee, and I honestly can't believe the difference. Only had them out for one night, but on back country roads, field of vision is easily twice that of what I was getting with the previous lights. I also spent plenty of time standing in front of them and they don't seem too bright or distracting to oncoming traffic. Field of vision is so much improved, I expect very little use for high beams, unless traveling at speed on the Interstate.

A Great Headlight Bulb
A great bulb at a good price. We purchased these to replace the headlight lamps on our 1997 Nissan 4x4 Pickup. What a difference!! Highly recommend.

A worthwhile upgrade from standard headlights
I placed a pair of these in my '93 Chevy pickup. These lights are substantially better than the standard sealed beam halogen lamps. The light is whiter, and even though the wattage is matched, they certainly appear to be brighter. The other good news is that I am writing this review at least five years after these lights were installed; so at least for me, they are giving a decent service life with no noticeable deterioration of performance. If you'd like to be better able to see where you are going at night, you owe yourself a pair of these. The present price is actually a few bucks lower than what I originally paid, so they are a good value.

Unbelievable!
One of the headlights on our chevy astro was actually stolen and replaced with a headlight which had blown. When we started calling around for a new one, the LEAST expensive replacement we could find was $132.95 plus tax! for ONE!!! I was shocked.After a couple of weeks of not driving after dusk, and not being able to find the right headlight at salvage yards, the little voice in my head said, "check Amazon!" Seriously? For a headlight?! But check Amazon I did.Hold and below, we could get a PAIR of headlights for less than $25! And there was a form/app which assured the headlights would work on our van. I was a bit skeptical; nervous about believing we could get a pair of headlights for less than $25. The auto places were charging as much as $213 (plus tax) PER headlight. But Amazon has a great return policy, so...The headlights arrived, they installed easily, fit and worked perfectly. And our old working headlight is now a spare. OMG!!! From now on...

Purolator L20195 Oil Filter - worked in my car !
Per the application chart, this fit my vehicle and seems to have done the job for me for 4000-5000 miles. BTW, I think it is unfair to rate a product a 1 because the item did not fit your vehicle. The idea of a review is to rate the product, not that you are unhappy because an incorrect part was ordered and that one did not work in your vehicle.

Driving Light Beam Pattern
The 004XTs are great driving lamps, and excellent for their intended application. They shoot a relatively narrow beam *way* down the road. I replaced the 1100s on my motorcycle with 004XTs for just this reason and I'm very happy with the switch. But note, the PIAA 1100s and 004XTx have different beam patterns, 35 degrees versus 25 degrees respectively. (Compare to 90-100 degrees for fog lamps.) The 004XTs will not illuminate the sides of the road as well as the 1100s, just as the 1100s won't illuminate downrange as well. They're both excellent products--just pick the right one.

Motorcycle application
These Piaas (492 004XT) arrived quickly and were installed the same day. The color of the light is bright white, and the beam is thrown way down the road, so take the time to aim them properly. I like the setup, and run them all the time during the day is be seen by traffic...obviously at night these are only run sparingly on dark deer filled roads.Usual PIAA quality throughout. The lighted switch is very nicely designed esp for mounting on bikes.Thumbs up!

Bright enough to help?
Application: motorcycle. I have used PIAA 1100X on a bike. I THINK the 1100X is brighter, despite the H3's being a brighter bulb. On the plus side, H3 bulbs are more readily available. However, size is nice for tight application. Wiring diagram is good enough.
