Great Motor
My Ford Bronco II was not engaging into four wheel drive properly and after diagnosing the shift motor as the cause..I ordered Dorman 600-800 from Amazon at a fraction of the cost of the dealership or secondary parts shops. Perfect, worked just like OEM
I purchased this instead of the expensive replacement from FORD. It worked like a charm, easy to replace, just follow the enclosed instructions to remove the harness without damaging it.

4WD actuator motor
Replaced this motor on my 1991 Mazda Navajo. After troubleshooting the 4WD system I determined that this was the culprit. Reasonable price and perfect fit. Installed very easily and after that the 4WD worked fine. Good quality!

I asked in the community forums why it would have been flagged and they said it was probably because I was asking 3 times what the vehicle was worth, and that my vehicle is a $400 vehicle. I added some additional text and had lowered the price, so I had refreshed it twice in two weeks, and I also had pictures inside the ad itself (html through photobucket).

I know of one person who changed one on the passenger side himself and was all smiles from ear to ear. Time to change the foam on both seats is about ten minutes a piece once you get the seat out of the vehicle. One thing I can tell you about Explorers is the front ends wear quick. tires, all wheel bearings, rear differential, rear drive shaft, u joints, front axels re-packed and I can't remember the other parts without looking at the bills. You can check the upper joing by turning the well and visually checking. I've had three explorers from 96 to 2003 which I have handed down to my children. I hate to mention this, but is a possibility with the 2003 Explorer. If you think you will get confused on the re-installation, use your cell phone and take a couple close-up photos before takeing it apart. If you learn one of the hubs are bad, change both. The drone or "hum" you hear could be one of the hubs going bad. The rubber grease covers are probably gone making the ball visible and has probably rusted. There is one piece of plastic about a foot long that wedges part of the material onto a frame. It's extremely easy once you take the seat out of the vehicle.
