Must have
I wouldn't do an install without one of these Harnesses this plugs in th the car/truck factory harness. It is color coded so you connect the new player to this harness. What is so nice is you can do all of your wire connections in the house and then install is just plug and play, plus if you sell your ride unplug the new one plug in the old and keed the player for your next ride. No more laying under the dash trying to figure out the wires of the oringinal manufactures and trying to splice into their wire harness. Fit my 2003 Ford Supercrew with single CD.

Perfect fit for 2003 Ford F-150
I picked this harness up for an installation on a 2003 Ford F-150. It was easy to install but the instructions do have the "dimmer" wire labeled as Orange/White when it was Orange/Black on this harness. Most people will not use that wire anyway; the orange wire in the harness labeled "illumination" is the one most people will use. For most aftermarket stereos it's just a matter of matching the wires on this harness to the same color wires on your stereo's harness. Intense White
I'm using these on a 2004 BMW 1150RT motorcycle. Before these I had Sylvania Silver Stars. The PIAA are much brighter and more of a blue white. So far I'm very happy with them, will see how long they last?

Great little bulbs.
I have had these installed for about a month. I used them as replacement bulbs for my PIAA 550 fog lights. I have the amber lights, but the glass of the lamp is yellow, so I think you can use any bulb. According to my research this is a great replacement bulb for these lamps. It was simple to install. I think that I had to replace one of my prior bulbs due to off road conditions not that it burned out on it's own. I think that weather / water got inside the lamp, which caused a short. Make sure you reattach everything exactly as you removed it, and that all connections are tight. Naturally Amazon was a breeze to do business with, good reviews, prices, and shipping. I looked at quite a few other places for these bulbs, and ratings/reviews. Enjoy.

Easy Upgrade
These work. If you are looking for more light without a lot of effort and money, these will fill the bill. More light is never a bad thing. I have tried the cheaper brands in the past. Don't waste your money on them. PIAA makes a great product.

Piaa Xtreme white 65/55 9007 HB5 bulbs
I own a 2001 F-150. Because of all the hype about Piaa bulbs, I bought the Piaa Xtreme-white 55/65 watt bulbs to replace the Sylvania Silver Star bulbs which burn out after 4 yrs of use. I found the Piaa bulbs to be about the same brightness as the regular Silver Star bulbs. The Piaa Bulbs due cost about 3x more then the Silver stars Bulbs. But, the Piaa do have a Limited Lifetime Warranty, what ever that means.In the attempt to get the maximum amount of light from the Piaa bulbs I "had" to re-aim my headlights. I found the Piaa bulbs to distribute more light to the sides of the vehicle but the light did not shoot any higher or lower compared to the Silver Star bulbs. Light quality and intensity is about the same. All though the light color is a little more in the white color range vs the Silver Stars.If I have to buy light bulbs again, due to the cost factor and amount of light able to archive from a Halogen. I'll be looking into HD conversion kits instead of...

My 2 Cents
This is a system for those who want basic cd radio. I opted to return it only because I found one that offered more features also a Dual unit. This one plays limited recorded CD formats so make sure you read the product specs carefully. It has a very good bonus in that it has a POWER USB PORT on the face plate that can be used ONLY TO CHARGE a USB devise. The USB port WILL NOT PLAY A DEVICE but having the charger USB you can shop Walmart for an adaptor that has most of the connection charging type ends attacthed to it for about $20. I find DUAL offers many different units that can meet the users needs. Be sure to review them all and make the best choice. Delivery was fast and my return of the product was easy. The seller BUY.COM is kind enough to send an RMA via e-mail that is prepaid return UPS shipping reflecting their aim for full customer satisfaction. Driving Light Beam Pattern
The 004XTs are great driving lamps, and excellent for their intended application. They shoot a relatively narrow beam *way* down the road. I replaced the 1100s on my motorcycle with 004XTs for just this reason and I'm very happy with the switch. But note, the PIAA 1100s and 004XTx have different beam patterns, 35 degrees versus 25 degrees respectively. (Compare to 90-100 degrees for fog lamps.) The 004XTs will not illuminate the sides of the road as well as the 1100s, just as the 1100s won't illuminate downrange as well. They're both excellent products--just pick the right one.

Motorcycle application
These Piaas (492 004XT) arrived quickly and were installed the same day. The color of the light is bright white, and the beam is thrown way down the road, so take the time to aim them properly. I like the setup, and run them all the time during the day is be seen by traffic...obviously at night these are only run sparingly on dark deer filled roads.Usual PIAA quality throughout. The lighted switch is very nicely designed esp for mounting on bikes.Thumbs up!

Bright enough to help?
Application: motorcycle. I have used PIAA 1100X on a bike. I THINK the 1100X is brighter, despite the H3's being a brighter bulb. On the plus side, H3 bulbs are more readily available. However, size is nice for tight application. Wiring diagram is good enough.
