Works like a charm!
I bought a used Ford Taurus that did not come with a key fob. It would have cost me much more to get a replacement from the dealer. This key fob works as described after I followed the simple instructions to program it myself. I couldn't be more please with the money that I spent on this product

Overall this is a pretty great product, but there is poor construction in it. The supports are weak, it seems as if they are just held on by epoxy.

I AM HAPPY
I am very happy with this product, bought two for 18$(with shipping), at pepboys one is 50$. That means that I save about 80% on this item. Works well, nothing wrong, easy to install. Instructions for install, video, you have on youtube.com and can see, very easy.one month after i start using this remote control, they still works. i have 01 taurus SES. i am not sure on what distance keys works but i am sure that is more than 10-15 metars, which is enought for me. Just like when car was new
I bought three of these with two keys for less than the cost of one key at the dealer. It was easy to program them (less than five minutes). They worked just as well as the ones that came with the car when new. Works at same distance too. Can't say enough good things about the product and the whole experience.

Very Nice
I received this kit from Amazon a couple days ago and put it and my new radio in my '02 Taurus in about 2 hours. It is sturdy and looks nice though it doesn't look like factory equipment. I chose this one because others were said to look cheap and feel flimsy. This one is definitely better than that.The plastic is multi layer and sturdy and holds the radio without any problem. This adapter has back lighting for the climate controls too and they look better than those on the 96 - 99 kit also made by Metra which look pretty cheezy.The biggest complaint (and its not that bad) is that the instructions could be a little more detailed. But after getting familiar with everything the installation was pretty easy. It would also be nice if they included the removal tools. I ended up shoving drill bits and allen keys in the holes then pushing the old one out from behind.One quick note, if your new radio is deeper than the Ford control unit, you will...

I have a 2000 Ford Taurus SE. Firstly, I would only recommend you purchase this kit if the year of your car is 2000-2003 (as stated on the box.) The kit comes with everything you would need, the only drawback; however, is that the directions could be more detailed as far as wiring goes. The diagrams could also be better drawn, but what can you do. I had to take this into Best Buy, because I just couldn't figure out how to wire the darned thing. Although, if wiring is your thing, this will be no problem whatsoever for you. I would also recommend you pickup a "din" removal tool, which will save you a boatload of hassle. Overall, the thing looks great, works great, and I would highly recommend this to anyone who was interested.

Not bad for the cost
I ordered two of these keyless entry remotes when they arrived only one would program. I originally ordered them when the loop that the key ring goes through broke and decided at the cost why not pick one up for my spare set that didn't have one. Since the one didn't work I took the board out of the one with the broken case. Works fine now.
