Quick simple repair
I purchased these hubs to replace the factory hubs on my 2000 F350. My hubs were so tight I had to use vise grips to turn them. This is a very simple job, I had replaced the hubs on my Jeep CJ5 about 20 plus years ago so I figured I could do it again since I am not a mechanic. The job took about 30 minutes to complete, you dont have to remove the wheel or jack up the truck. I started by removing the snap ring holding in the hub then tapped it with a hammer and it slid right out since it is plastic and cant rust to the rotor. I slid in the new parts after applying some marine grease and put in the new snap ring, the kit supplies a smaller snap ring for the end of the axle by my application didnt need it. Screwed on the outer hub in the free position, then jacked up that wheel to test by locking in the hub and spinning the wheel forward which turned the axle then back to free to test its release by spinning in reverse, perfect. 2001 f350 auto hub replacement
this was easy to install only took half hour been using it with no problems u do not need to go to a shop anyone can install in there drive way don't have to be a mechanic u just remove snap ring pull hub out install new put snap ring back in and bolt face on and ur ready to go don't even have to take wheels of just center cap then jack up to see if they lock an cap of old vacume lines

1996 Ford F250 auto hub replacement
I am not a mechanic, but I figured I had enough skill to tackle this job. I was right. I replaced my factory automatic hubs with the Warn locking hubs without much swearing at all. I had researched this project, and from what I had read, I didn't need the spindle nut set. This isn't the case with my '96 Ford F250. I did need the spindle nut set, and a special socket to install them. Once I had everything I needed, I breezed right through it. I did tighten the wheel bearing retention nut too tight, and took both hubs apart the next day and put them back together again in about 45 minutes. I only gave this product four stars because I felt the instructions were just a touch too ambiguous.

Worked for me!
I ordered this to replace the upper ball joints on my 2000 Ford F250 4x4, Diesel. Fit was perfect. Just remember to file down the zerk fittings *before* putting it all together (if you want to leave the fittings in there full time) so that the universal joint doesn't whack it when you shift to 4-wheel drive.

moog ball joint
Came quick from UPS. Ordered two of these and two uppers for my F350. They're good quality Moogs, no worries there. Only thing is, make sure you grease the lower ball joints then remove the zerq and install the plug before you put the steering knuckle back on the axle shaft. The zerq does not clear the u-joints. Also, make sure you put the rubber boots on as stated (on the boot), otherwise they will not hold grease properly. I threw the zerqs in a tylenol bottle and put them in the glove compartment. I grease the front end every oil change (5,000 miles for my diesel). It's easiest to get to the plug/zerq for example: drivers side turn tire all the way the right. The plug is some odd size, neither metric or standard, easiest to get on and off with a small crescent wrench. Best thing of all about these ball joints is the price. Way cheaper than from any three of the local auto parts stores. Saved 150 dollars just on ball joints.

Ford Axle Shaft Seal Installer
I ended up purchasing this tool after searching the net for all and any required tools to do my ball joint swap. Many forums show guys making their own version of this tool, and then warning about not pushing the tool to far, or having to travel to machine shops to get the homemade version finished. This tool was worth every dollar vs the time It would have taken to make my own! A couple hammer taps and the seal was exactlly where it should have been. I would reccommend this tool to anyone thinking on making their own version.

Professional Quality at a great price!
It's solid metal...what can go wrong, it's like making a hammer it either works or it doesn't! I've heard OTC is what "professional" mechanics at dealerships ect. use. I've used it more than a few times already and am happy with the quality. Again not much to say, it has no moving parts so it's like comparing a brick to a umm...brick? you go for the best price...which is here at Amazon!

great price
I had no luck in finding the correct hubs for my truck. Every auto parts store I went to said they not only did not have them in stock but they couldn't order them either. Those few places that said they could get them wanted $400 for just the hubs alone. Started checking the net and found some but none of those sites came close in price to Amazon.com. Placed my order and received my parts before the date I expected them. Everything fit perfect and my truck is up and back on the road and I saved almost $200 in the process.

warn standard hubs
We ordered these for our stock f-250 and they work fine. These are just what you need for OEM standard 4x4 use, not 4x4 extreme off-road but then you might be better off using a drive flange?

Perfect replacement for vacuum hubs
We had a 1997 KIA that had these hubs as OEM equipment. After a tree fell onto it, we bought a used 1998 KIA and found out while driving it up a snow-covered hill that the 4WD did not engage. The dealer wanted $1,750.00 to repair the vacuum hubs. After doing research on the internet, I ordered these hubs. You will need a spanner wrench and snap-ring pliers to do the job. I replaced the hubs without removing the wheels by removing the hub caps. It took me about an hour to do both. Then I cut a hole in each front hub cap so they would fit over the longer mechanical locking hubs and snapped them back onto the rims. The logo "Warn" shows through the hub caps and they look almost like original equipment. Interestingly, the old vacuum hubs say "Warn, made in USA" on the edge. The new automatic mechanical locking hubs came with detailed instructions including pictures.
