1999 Ford Taurus with MACH stereo
This thing is AWESOME. I'm using it to hook up my iPod to the car's stereo system. Took literally 15 minutes to install in my 1999 Taurus (with MACH stereo) and it sounds great! The only 'hard' part is trying to hide the cable that you have to run from the trunk to the cabin of the car (which isn't included - you have to buy your own.. I'm running it under the back seat, inside the rear door trim, under the front seat, to the console in between the seats.)NOTE - CRUTCHFIELD SAYS: "Factory radio must have one preset button labeled "COMP" and another preset button labeled 'SHUFFLE'."I didn't have either one of those buttons - but it still worked. You just hit the 'CD' button and it will switch over.

2000 Ford Taurus SE Auxiliary input adapter
I am finally able to listen to my favorite music in my 2000 Ford Taurus SE, not that repeated boring music received over the FM dial! This auxiliary input adapter has, by far, the best audio quality output I have tried adding to my stock radio! Product comes with easy install instructions.Don't even waste your time trying cassette adapters or FM transmitters which have interference and can be noisy at times. This adapter has no interference or noise even when volume is all the way up on both the car stereo and mp3 player with music paused on mp3 player.Once installed just push the CD button and CD 1 - TRK 1 will show up on the radio display.

2002 Taurus , LOVE IT
This installed in about 15 minutes and provides good audio over a 25' rca to 3.5mm also from amazon. In about eighty bucks and now I can run XM, Pandora, or your favorite MP3 player through it.How to determine if your car will work:If your dash player says "Disc 1-6" but your cd player only takes 1 CD then you're good to go. Plug this in, hit the CD button twice, and you're ready to go.Where to find rear control unit:The drivers side of the trunk will have some giant plastic screws to pull out; then the entire side will come out. There's a shiny metal box with 2 cables plugged into it. Plug this in there (one cable is a daisy chain, the other plugs in beside for power.)If it had a direct 3.5mm to 3.5mm than it would have been a 5 star; having to convert to rca just seems pointless...
