Works in my 2005 Pontiac Grand Am 6 cyl
I purchased 10A, 15A and 20A of these MINI BP PRO fuses. The amazon website indicated they would 'not' fit a 2005, Pontiac Grand Am 6 cyl but they most certainly do! I took a gamble on the picture being correct and this time won. (RISKY)These are very tiny and have a tapered semi-spade blade as the pictures indicate.Just so you know, on my ruler, they are about 7/16" wide and the blade is about 1/4" long.My ciggy lighter takes the 20A (yellow). I'll toss a mixture of these in the car and fill up the empty 'spare' fuse holders on the passenger, driver side and under the hood fuse boxes.

These work very well, but are a little difficult to insert in the fuse holder. I carefully tap on the ends with a hammer over a hard surface to create a small amount of taper in the end of the fuse blade.

I've been off-roading for more than four decades. Bikes, buggies and now, a 4x4. Never really thought I needed a winch until I got the 4X4, but since my Trooper weighs in at around 4,500 pounds, I knew there was no way I could get out of a "sticky" situation without a winch. I run in sand at Hatteras, hills and woods at Wind Rock and make the occasional trip to CO to explore old mining trails and hunt for ghost towns. And I always travel alone. So, one of my first purchases for the Trooper was an ARB bullbar and a Warn M8000. That was in 2002. Oddly, since then, I haven't had a desperate need for a winch. Oh, there have been numerous times when I have had to clear a large branch or tree from the trail, but I've never been stuck, so I never had a chance to put the M8000 to the test.Then, this Spring, I had a 70', 18" diameter black pine break in a windstorm and fall into the lake near my boat dock where we live. Does what it says
This is the best basic winch you can get. Don't be fooled into buying any of the cheaper ones. Learn from my mistakes. It does what it says it does. Pulls four tons. Has paid for itself in my case with one emergency use. Had to pull and lift 2.5 tons which it did with ease. I would recommend having a snatch block and either a chain or heavy strap to give more options when needed. It is not always possible to get the truck with the winch in exactly the right spot. great winch
i purchased this winch for my 2500HD Duramax since i have regularly found myself in some odd predicaments requiring a winch. i installed this winch on some Iron Bull Bumpers and they both match up perfectly for my truck. it has a fairly quick line speed under light loads and will really pull well when you need it to. installation can be a bit cumbersome when it is mounted behind the bumper, and some of the tolerances between oil coolers and intercoolers can be a bit tight but in the end it works out well. i did notice a slight change in the handling of the truck once the mounting was complete, but it is minimal and adding an additional 5-10 psi in your tires makes it less noticeable. along with this winch, i purchased the Rugged Ridge 30,000k snatch block and a 30,000 pound 30 foot tow strap since the line capacity on this winch is only 90 feet, and the working line length is only 86 feet-ish since you need a minimum of 5 wraps of line on the drum to do those heavy pulls and... There are still issues with EGR valves, EGR cooler and oil coolers getting clogged. It has 130k miles on it. Did ford fix the diesel problems by 2005 (actual door date is 10/04) and what do you think the fuel mileage would be on this. 3 to pull our 5th wheel, but a 2005 F550 Longhorn conversion by tuscany with 57k miles has come up for sale in our area. 0 had 80,000 miles and ran as well as the day it came off the lot. If you take some preventative, take care of it, you should be okay.
Any suggestions would be helpful, including the location of the fuse that controls the power windows. When I bought it 2 years ago the driver side power window needed a new motor. Then, about a month later I went to use the windows and now nothing works.
